Carmen. Michaela's aria from act 3. Michaela– Geraldine Farrar. New York, December 8, 1908. – The role of Michaela was included in the original repertoire of Farrar at the Metropolitan Opera. In the role of Carmen, which became one of her highest theatrical achievements, Farrar performed for the first time only 6 years later, on November 29, 1914.
