Inspired by Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué`s novel `Sintram and His Companions` and Dürer`s engraving `Knight, Death and the Devil`.
The story tells of a young Norwegian knight, Sintram, whose life is darkened by a curse due to the sins and cruelty of his father. Sintram`s companions are Death and the Little Terror (the Devil).
