The FULL and COMPLETE score of Appalachian Spring, performed live by The Detroit Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leonard Statkin, Detroit, 2014. Slatkin has been devotedly performing and recording the full and complete scores by Copland (as we usually only get the concert suites). This complete performance is quite moving and shows Coplands skill at painting an emotive picture of rural life in America. Its a pity that audience members chose to add coughs to the some of the quiet and intimate mom
