A stunning performance by a remarkable conductor and cast. Its a shame that the recording couldn`t have been uploaded without the `Cues` causing `blips` in the sound which takes away a little of the enjoyment.

Of course this version of the Marseillaise is much better, nevertheless, and unfortunately, it seems proved that Rouget recycled a music already composed by Viotti some years before and owned by Si

I love this performance. I think Rosalyn Tureck breathes the music. She let the music be.
Her interpretation is slow as if wanting to feel each note carefully.
