Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra (RNYSO)

The composer worked on the symphony during the lockdown and completed it in May 2020.
Written for string orchestra, percussion and piano.
The symphony consists of two parts:
- Part One: Tense and dynamic, reflecting the anxiety and realities of a world in a pandemic.
- Second movement (Adagio): Longer, in form reminiscent of a prelude and fugue; in the finale there is a hope for salvation.
