Dedicated to the `departed` and explores the philosophical theme of memory of those who are no longer with us.
The piece is filled with rich string textures howling glissandos eerie pizzicatos and icy tremolos. The musical material undergoes a series of transformations while some fragments remain unchanged like frozen memories.
