The composer worked on the symphony during the lockdown and completed it in May 2020.
Written for string orchestra percussion and piano.
The symphony consists of two parts
- Part One Tense and dynamic reflecting the anxiety and realities of a world in a pandemic.
- Second movement Adagio Longer in form reminiscent of a prelude and fugue; in the finale there is a hope for salvation.
