Arrayán or Chilean myrtle Luma apiculata is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family native to the central Andes between Chile and Argentina. Also introduced and naturalised in Spain Ireland and western Britain.
Growing to 1015 m tall and wide it is a vigorous bushy evergreen tree with fragrant flowers. Its fruits are prized in Chile and Argentina and its flowers are important for honey production.
