Written by order of Finnish Radio.
The piece is built on the juxtaposition of orchestra and electronics, which move in opposite directions along the `timbre axis` (from pure tone to noise). The orchestra begins with a dense sound (tutti) and gradually transitions into instrumental noise, while the electronics (based on processed violin sounds) strive for a more homogeneous, almost `orchestral` sound.
The film was produced at GRM studios in Paris using the digital tools of the time.
