Evgeny Nesterenko singing Shostakovich`s Suite on Verses of Michelangelo Buonarroti, op. 145a, with the Moscow Radio SO under Maxim Shostakovich, recorded in 1976. Nesterenko premiered this work for voice and piano on 23 December 1974, and the orchestral version on 31 January 1975. Maxim confided to Nesterenko that his father considered this his 16th symphony. |
