May 11, 1946. La Scala Theater Choir. - The 9th number of the concert at the post-war opening of La Scala. (The 8th was the overture from the Sicilian Vespers, the 10th Intermezzo and the 3rd act of Manon Lescaut Puccini.)

Chorus of Israelis Va pensiero. May 11, 1946. La Scala Choir. - The 7th number of the concert at the post-war opening of the La Scala Theater (the 6th was the overture to `Nabucco`, the 8th was the overture to `Sicilian Vespers`).

The 5th number was a prayer from Rossini`s Moses (all the previous ones have already been posted in the Archive, and the commentary to the 5th contains a complete list of all 11 concert numbers), the 7th number was the choir from Nabucco.

Intermezzo and 3rd act. May 11, 1946. Mafalda Favero (Manon), Giovanni Malipiero (Des Grieux), Mariano Stabile (Lescaut), Giuseppe Nessi (Lamplighter?), Carlo Forti (Sergeant?), ? (Captain of the ship). - Unfortunately, the performers are named in my entry, but their parts are not indicated. - This is the 10th concert at the post-war opening of the La Scala Theater. Chorus of the theater. (The 9th issue was Verdi`s Te Deum, the 11th and last was the Prologue to Boito`s Mephistopheles.)

Soldier`s Dance from 3 d. May 11, 1946. - the 4th number of the concert at the post-war opening of the La Scala Theater. The next number was a prayer from the opera Moses (see here in the Archive), the 6th overture to Nabucco Verdi.

Dance from 1 d. May 11, 1946. - the 3rd number of the concert at the post-war opening of the La Scala Theater. (No. 2 was a wedding chorus from the same opera, and No. 4 was a soldier`s dance from her 3rd act).

Wedding choir on May 11, 1946. La Scala Theater Choir. - The 2nd number of the concert at the post-war opening of La Scala. (The 1st number was the overture to the `Magpie Thief`, the 3rd was the dance from the 1st d. `William Tell`)
