Written by order of Finnish Radio.
The piece is built on the juxtaposition of orchestra and electronics which move in opposite directions along the `timbre axis` from pure tone to noise. The orchestra begins with a dense sound tutti and gradually transitions into instrumental noise while the electronics based on processed violin sounds strive for a more homogeneous almost `orchestral` sound.
The film was produced at GRM studios in Paris using the digital tools of the time.
