The Cleveland Orchestra. Conductor George Szell. This work was written for Leonard Rose and premiered in 1962, after which it was recorded.

Yehuda Hanani (cello) was a pupil of Leonard Rose, for whom the work was written. RTE National Symphony Orchestra (Ireland). Conductor: William Eddins. The work starts with the Shakespeare poem intended to be recited before the music begins, read by American actress Jane Alexander.
