In a lazy half-sleep inspired by a dream, Without pangs of repentance, without torture of thought, Without cowardly tears of farewell to the earth. I would like to die in fragrant spring, In a neglected garden, on a fragrant day, So that clumps of dark lindens doze over me And blooming lilacs swayed.
