The notebook of piano variations on the theme of Vanya`s song from the opera `Ivan Susanin` is dedicated to the memory of Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka 100th anniversary of his death.
The variations were written by D.D.Shostakovich V.Ya.Shebalin D.B.Kabalevsky G.V.Sviridov E.A.Kapp Yu.A.Levitin R.K.Shchedrin and A.Ya.Eshpai.
